EarthGrid’s CPCN Utility Status

State of the States: Update on Where EarthGrid™ has a CPCN

We’re excited to announce that EarthGrid has been granted utility status with a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) in more states. We now have that unique advantage in:

    • Alabama
    • Arizona
    • California
    • Colorado
    • Georgia
    • Florida
    • Idaho
    • Illinois
    • Indiana
    • Iowa
    • Louisiana
    • Massachusetts
    • Nebraska
    • Nevada
    • New Jersey
    • New York
    • Ohio
    • Oregon
    • Pennsylvania
    • Texas
    • Utah
    • Vermont
    • Washington
    • Wisconsin
    • Wyoming

As a utility with a CPCN, EarthGrid has an increased likelihood of being granted Right of Way (ROW) permits along state and county roads for underground conduits, utility lines, etc. Having ROW access can help us secure the permits we need to get our projects done quickly and more affordably. Stay tuned for more!
